Colonial Greenway

The natural beauty and rich history of southern Westchester come together on the Colonial Greenway. Its 15 miles of trails wind through woods and wetlands that are home to an abundance of wildlife and through neighborhoods touched by the lives of Thomas Paine, Anne Hutchinson, James Fenimore Cooper, and other great figures of American History.

The colonial Greenway can be enjoyed by hikers, walkers, and runners, and portions of the trail are also appropriate for equestrians. This scenic trail loop connects local and county parks in the Town of Mamaroneck, Mamaroneck Village, Scarsdale, Eastchester, and New Rochelle.
