Senior Center Membership Information
The Senior Center allows residents as well as non-residents to become members. Those residing in the Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Larchmont & Village of Mamaroneck are considered residents. There is a required annual membership fee of $35 per person for residents and $50 for non-residents. Annual membership at the senior center runs from January 1st - December 31st. Most activities are free with membership or have a nominal charge. Some programs, trips, and special events have a fee for participants. If you are interested in joining, please complete the Senior Center Registration Form and return it to the Senior Center with your payment.
Senior Center Programs & Events
The Senior Center offers an engaging selection of social, educational, and recreational programs for our members to choose from. We offer a wide array of exercise programs that aim to improve balance, strength, and overall physical fitness for our seniors. Our members can also choose to partake in group games such as, Mahjongg, Bridge or Poker. In addition, the center offers educational programs such as, lectures, wellness programs, and art classes. Our center hosts monthly special or themed events with musical entertainment, intergenerational programs, and trips to local museums or theaters. Additional programming is created based on topics of interest within our senior community. You can view the Senior Center’s Monthly Calendar of Events or pick one up at the Senior Center. Senior Nutrition Program
The Senior Center is also home to the Senior Nutrition Program which provides a hot lunch weekdays at noon. Reservations are required and must be made at least one day in advance by calling the Senior Center at (914) 834-8840 between the hours of 9:00 am - 2:00 pm. The true cost of the meal is $7.95 per meal and the minimum suggested contribution is $4 per meal. Participants under the age of 60 must pay the full cost of the meal.
